"bought a towel for $4.35 and got charged for $43.50 on my credit card, called the store 30 minutes after and they told me they had no idea what i was talking about and that i had to come back in to correct the mistake that they made on their end. manager on the line was rude and not helpful, and when i came in, they told me they had to check the video cameras for “proof” and because the video cameras were broken right now, couldn’t refund me until they got them fixed. terrible level of customer service for a mistake on their end that i shouldn’t have been asked to come in again about, and once i did come back in they couldn’t even fix the problem. manager even had the audacity to ask me to come in AGAIN later for what should’ve been an easy refund and fix over the phone. i’ve literally never had a worse experience at any store in my life. DO NOT COME HERE."

"I had to post this review, because this WAS my neighborhood store. I went in like I do every Friday after work. I love the selection and just to get out of the house from working from home all day. Again I come in every week, and just shocked. So first I will set the scene. The young lady in front of me used her card, no ID needed, the transaction right beside used a card no ID needed. I give her my card she holds the card flips it and ask for ID. The transaction is for 18.37 but I will point out that I am black and this is my metal visa credit card. I told her and the guy that sees me every week that they have never checked my ID. I told her that's some racist stuff. If it wasn't racist please explain to me why the 2 people mentioned above didn't have to show there ID. I will miss this store greatly, I'm not going back after that. But they still have great selection."

"Called this place to ask about a product, apparently the language I speak scared the person cause they hung up on me without saying anything and when I called back they declined my call. Don’t recommend, service is absolutely horrible, go to Sally’s or even better go to Sharon’s or the one nail supply in Super Hmart, this place is garbage… so sad too as they are my local shop, would’ve loved to support the business. "For me it was a hidden gem in the neighborhood, reason being they were the only hair supply store that had the product I was looking for. Ambi fade cream, customer service was good and helpful. Cashier was super friendly and polite!"

"I would give this storefront a ZERO RATING if it were an option. I recently bought a hair color in a box, the Alter Ego brand. Later that night when I went to apply it, I found that the tube had been tampered with or old and damaged in the corner. When I tried to squeeze out the product from the regular opening -it oozed instead out of the punctured hole. I tried as best as I could to salvage it and make enough mixture in order to apply it but it was completely wasted. I took a video of what was going on as well as how I was unable to color my hair with it throughout. I placed it in a bag to take it to them the next day because it was already 9 PM. Overnight, the bag had exploded with product and the fumes were unbearable so I threw it out. I took the empty box, the receipt and the video to the manager. He looked at me like I had two heads and told me that I was ridiculous for bringing in an empty box and expecting something from him. I showed him the video and explained why I could not bring a bag of unusable, exploded product. I was not asking for a refund, simply a credit for a new product or an exchange for a fresh one. He proceeded to treat me like I was an idiot and said there was nothing he could do about that because he didn't know that it came from his store!! Meanwhile the receipt was right in front of him! I have been supporting their business for years, even though there are other beauty stores right across the street from them, down the street from them. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced! If you are in the retail business number one the customer is always right. With proof: a video, a store bag, RECEIPT and a fresh box he did not even have the decency to give me a store credit. I will not be supporting this establishment again and I urge you to think twice about it yourself! There are other friendlier places with more integrity in the neighborhood. Shame on them."
