"If I could give no stars, I would!!! It will be the first and last time I ever stepped foot into that store. I brought my empty containers to make sure I was picking up the correct products as well as to see the prices I paid prior. They had them but I felt they were way overpriced, so I returned my containers into my bag and went to leave the store. I was outright accused of stealing. I find it NOT funny how she saw me place my containers back into my bag but failed to see me take them out"

"DO NOT BUY HAIR FROM HERE! I bought 3 packets of Tape-In extensions and they didn’t even last 3 weeks. The manager was rude. He tried to raise his voice when I was politely explaining how the hair was not good. He was nice when I came in looking for hair. When I paid. But when I told him how it was bad he was very dismissive. Do not buy their hair. They do not respect you once they get your money."

"Ever heard a store policy that you need to sign up account to get purchase receipt. According to lying store clerk at Yonkers (Central Ave), will need to sign up for a Sallie Beauty account to receive order purchase and get receipt, or return. The lady took the receipt from the printer and throw it out because its the store policy. I asked where is the policy so she started laughing. I said I need see the manager, so there is no manager. She took her and went back to store and call her friend Amy to act like the store manager. I said, I wanna return, she wont let me, her reason you will need to sign up. Finally, she produce the receipt but she wont. I contacted the customer service and they stated there is no such a policy. At the end, clerk and Amy started laughing. Everything happened right infront of the store camera. Nasty service, the store deserves ZERO Stars."

"Buyer beware when placing online order for pick up. Will no longer be shopping at this location. Placed a order online for pick up, it stated all items were in stock. I had 2 coupons, one for 15% off and one for buy one hair color get another for 50% off. When I arrived at the store I was told they cancled 3 of my hair dyes cause they didn't have them in stock which they did. Not only that the three other hair dyes they gave me were the wrong brand. The cashier refused to help me and stated there was no manager there. Now I am out the 3 dyes I orderd and out of my coupon because people can't read or double check their work. I completely understand human error but the error needs to be rectified by Sally Beauty and not make the custome feel invaluable."

"Unfortunately the hair selection is minimal. They lack prices on most products and get an attitude when you have to ask for prices. This store is close to my home but I have to drive further away to get great customer service. The black male employee is very rude as well. He does not even look you in the eye when he speaks to you. Do avoid this store if you want a good shopping experience."

"I had to post this review, because this WAS my neighborhood store. I went in like I do every Friday after work. I love the selection and just to get out of the house from working from home all day. Again I come in every week, and just shocked. So first I will set the scene. The young lady in front of me used her card, no ID needed, the transaction right beside used a card no ID needed. I give her my card she holds the card flips it and ask for ID. The transaction is for 18.37 but I will point out that I am black and this is my metal visa credit card. I told her and the guy that sees me every week that they have never checked my ID. I told her that's some racist stuff. If it wasn't racist please explain to me why the 2 people mentioned above didn't have to show there ID. I will miss this store greatly, I'm not going back after that. But they still have great selection."

(My hair gets ..sassy sometimes, so tight braids will controll it lol) they always recommend the best and very homelike atmosphere always check it out. Check in, ask questions ! It doesnt hurt."

"This is, hands down, the best beauty supply store in the entire city. Nestled in Parkchester near the 6 train, you are definitely going to find everything you need and then some. I'm embarrassed to admit this, but I actually stole two items from this store once. When I left I began to feel horrible about what I did and returned to give the items back. The owner probably should have told me never to come back, but he surprised me. With a smile he thanked me for my honesty and told me I was welcome back anytime. I like to think I made a friend in the process. A special shout out to not only you, but your friendly staff as well! May all the blessings you deserve find you soon!"

"Everyone be carful when you buy anything from this store they can tell you lot of lies and you gono realize later when you start using equipments. Looks very good but not the right one. Bought Reclining Chair's paid $500 a piece looks strong but find out if I have any heavy customer the back is sliding down and goes so uncomfortable. I made a mistake buying 5 chairs but you be careful. My suggestion don’t buy any chairs from them or furniture."
